Web 2.0 – What does it really mean?

Hey Bloggers, check out this video that I simply HAD to post! Mostly because this whole post is a college assignment!! HA HA Check it out!

Okay! Seriously! Take a minute to check out this video. I loved the ideas that Professor Michael Wesch portrayed. I especially love the ways he portrayed them. By showing real time examples in creative and intriguing ways, I feel I was truly "taught" the info. It's going to stick! The amount of information the blogosphere and Web 2.0 generates daily is staggering. I find it hard to comprehend. Take a minute and look around you. Anywhere you find yourself, you are surrounded by text already! I have loved being a part of the blogosphere. Time restraints and other obligations force me to primarily be a reader of text. But the love and enjoyment of writing text will keep me "posting" for the forseeable future.

Seacrest Out!

  1. Hi Barbara,
Your blog is on my family blog and so I saw that you updated it. Good to see what you are up to. I don't usually leave comments however as I read down your blog I had to comment on the parade of homes one. Jacob and I have felt that exact same way about O.C. as you do. I LOVED growing up in the country and HATED living here in middle school. SO different. Well as time and luck(blessings) would have it, we decided to aim for the big O.C. and we are now moving there in the middle of May. YEAH for Oak City! I'm sure I'll love it.

  2. Very interesting video.
I hadn't thought about blogging that way, but he makes good points.
btw, I love "Friday I'm in Love". And I LOVE Katherine Mcfee's version of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". (Your playlist).
I actually have 3 versions of Somewhere over teh rainbow that I really like. One is the ukelele hawaiian version, and the other is the rock version by the Gimme Gimmes.
